I qualified as a Dance Movement Psychotherapist 7 years ago, which is part of the Creative Arts Family. This therapy offers space for the child to be aware of and use their body alongside, verbal conversation. Children can explore feelings and emotions that come up in an embodied way, with use of imagery and play, providing a visual and kinaesthetic approach to therapy.
I offer Play / Movement Therapy sessions in a one to one and group basis. I have also been a Foster Carer for 13 years and this inspires my therapy work. I enjoy being creative with young people and witnessing their individual therapeutic journey, to heal and thrive.
