TESTIMONIAL

Working with Clear Sky as a Therapist

My introduction to Clear Sky was as a TA and considering a career in play therapy. The school I worked in strongly believed in Play Therapy and had an established relationship with Clear Sky. The SENCO put me in touch, and I was thrilled to be taken on as a trainee. This meant much appreciated financial support with supervision costs, as well as having an organisation behind me.

My journey to qualifying was not straightforward, being interrupted by serious illness. But I got there and became a Clear Sky Therapist. The charity has arranged work for me in wide ranging schools, giving me valuable experience.  To be able to focus on therapy rather than worry about school contracts, referral information and invoicing is brilliant.

Being a Play Therapist can feel solitary. Being part of Clear Sky is such a support, with an office team to help sort logistical issues and being able to reach out to a qualified therapist when needing a listening ear.  A great benefit has been making connections with both Clear Sky Therapists and others at the high-quality training events.  It is very exciting that the third Clear Sky conference is coming up next April!

I feel my Play Therapy journey, which began 10 years ago, has now come full circle with the SENCO who introduced me now a Clear Sky Play Therapist herself.

The Power of Play is flourishing!
