Maurice Dixon

Chair

Maurice is a secondary school Vice Principal. He started his career as a music teacher in London before moving to schools in Reading and Oxford. He was a governor at his children’s primary school, is a trustee of Willow House Hospital Education and co-leader of the Oxfordshire Schools Mental Health and Wellbeing Network.

I am passionate about helping children meet their potential and I believe it takes teamwork between children, parents, schools and professionals such as those at Clear Sky to achieve this.

I know how much the arts can help us connect with each other and express our emotions and desires when words don’t work. I ride with Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) whose mission is to empower children to not feel afraid of the world in which they live and who rely on the skills of excellent play therapists such as those at Clear Sky.

I am delighted to be able to bring my experience, passion and support to this wonderful organisation.

Maurice is a NUCO Training Instructor and runs Safeguarding training for Clear Sky.
