Oxfordshire Schools Mental Health and Wellbeing Network – IMPORTANT NEWS

Announcement!

We are pleased to let you know that the Oxfordshire Schools Mental Health and Wellbeing Network now has a new home!

From 1 July 2024, the network will be hosted by Clear Sky Children’s Charity who aim to continue the great work that has been done under this platform; initially devised by Hannah Wilson and Lucinda Powell, before transferring into the very capable hands of Maurice Dixon and colleagues at Oxford Spires Academy.

Clear Sky are passionate about supporting all of Oxfordshire schools’ mental health and wellbeing, and we hope to extend and grow this network for the benefit of all of the Oxfordshire school community through events, networking opportunities and the sharing of practice.

Maurice Dixon said:

There is a huge need for good information and training about mental health and wellbeing in schools and unfortunately I have not had the capacity to fill that need through this network. I am delighted that Clear Sky Children’s Charity have agreed to get alongside our schools and support this network of teachers, mental health professionals and researchers so that all our children may benefit. Anna and her team are highly experienced and the network will be in very capable and caring hands
