St Peter’s in Didcot dedicated their February Quiz and Chips fundraising evening to Clear Sky.

14 teams including our very own Clear Sky Head Office group participated in (what became clear) was a very hotly contested quiz, with 10 rounds featuring History, Music, Geography and General Knowledge amongst others. There was also a picture round and then a very difficult round introduced, based on TV’s ‘Only Connect’ which almost tipped the Clear Sky team over the edge.

Regardless, our intrepid team soldiered on and came a respectable joint 10th on the evening, dodging the ‘Wooden Spoon’ thankfully. Thank you to regular quiz goer Laura who joined our table and gave us some extra support!

There was then a raffle, and the all important Fish and Chips were delivered promptly during the break. What a fabulous evening that St Peter’s run for the local community!

A wonderful evening, raising a staggering £415 for Clear Sky, which we are pleased to announce will be doubled through match funding in our upcoming Big Give Arts4Impact Campaign to £830!

A huge thank you to Clear Sky’s Jeanette for liaising with Hugh at St Peters to set this evening up for us, and to Jess for giving participants an introduction to Clear Sky.
